fetish design competition (2005)
In July of this year, I entered a fetish design contest. I had never designed any fetishwear before, but I'm always up for a challenge, so I figured, why not?
Here are the submitted sketches. They're not the kind of quality sketches I generally bust out–more like quick croquis because I was too busy actually sewing these suckers together.

I was chosen as a finalist to actually enter the show. The contest promoters suggested if I had anything else I wanted to toss up on the runway, I could, so I tossed in this little number I made in school.

This is a picture of my friend S, modeling it on my bed. My bed is a queen and she's standing in the far corner, and I cropped about 3 feet of train in the photo. Yes, this dress is a monstrocity.
Without further ado, here are the photos from the show, courtesy of my SO, A.

The corset got changed at the last minute. I thought the shirt collar and tie made for a more powerful image. I love how the skirt swings when she moves.

This shot was taken in my kitchen at the final fitting but I uploaded it because I think it's the best back shot of the outfit.

Oh, by the way, I won.

those illustrations look high quality to me! I wonder what your greater efforts look like?
And that monstrosity - pure fashion design student! I got a couple monstrosities of my own… hehe

Gasp. You are amazing. :-O
I love the second one — it’s something I would’ve asked to have been made for me, it’s perfect in every way. And the impossible-looking sheath with the red lacing is absolutely killer! I hope you do more fetishwear designs, I really do. Even if I’ll never get to wear any of your work, at least I can enjoy it from here. Thanks for sharing your talent!

Thank you so much for your kind words! All in all, it was a fun project, something totally out of left field for me.

Sorry this comment is so very late, however I was reminded of this because The Man In My Life (TMIML) did a google search for “domme” and found a link to this entry, which he clicked on because the blurb mentioned Cheeky and domme and he was curious. Bam! There I am dressed as a Domme.
made me chuckle.
think it made him hot.
hehehe
Should I get cards made for my services?
