    Next Door Style making a difference FOR the Vancouver fashion and arts scene.

The idea to start came to Vanessa Fors in December 2007 out of recognizing a need to increase the brand awareness of Vancouver’s best designers. “There is a beauty and uniqueness about the designs coming out of Vancouver right now,” says Vanessa. “The online store is just ONE way we are helping to promote Vancouver Fashion.”
    Designers for the October 2008 launch of are:
    Bronsino: classically inspired leather handbags produced in very limited numbers. All designs are handcrafted in Vancouver of the finest quality materials.
    Ginger Pottin creates unique jewelry by working with a revolving, eclectic mix of semi precious stones, enamel, leather and silver.
    Jesee Mongeot, born in Mallorca, Spain is the artist behind Izzy & Buds. At the tender age of fifteen, his gypsy days were spent selling his original creations to the turistas along the Mediterranean coast. Jesee incorporates the funky, Spanish attitude into his jewelry designs that glitter and shout, “Ooh la la!”
    Jolie Couture pulls inspirations from around the globe to produce garments for women that will standout in any crowd.
    Jolie Mack Designs is inspired by vintage Hollywood glamour, by sparkle and by confident style. Shoulder sweeping chandeliers dress up baby tees and long pearl strands romance your jeans.
    Kazumi draws her inspiration from the clean lines of classic Japanese design and the spirit of west coast art. She loves to mix semi-precious stones and Czech crystal to create chunky necklaces with a strong focal point.
    Kulus (pronounced coo loose) Designs is a woman’s clothing line that features contemporary West Coast Native Art. Amanda Anderson is the owner/operator and the Kulus was a crest passed down to her by her family. It is believed that the Kulus with its amazing strength lifted up the logs to build the first long house.
    Nixxi: Sweet & sustainable, Nixxi offers organic clothing made in Vancouver, BC.
    Olie Designs are beautiful knits, handmade with love in Vancouver, B.C. All knits are super soft, made with alpaca or chunky wool.
    Public Myth: An innovative line of active street wear made with comfort and style in mind.
    Spark Jewelry: By twisting and turning the wire, and adding splashes of colour with gemstones and crystals, Spark’s creations are as limitless as the imagination.
    Vanessa T Cunningham: Her Serendipity Wraps are hand worked on her Oma’s loom. Each piece is hand-woven in wool and non-wool and is felted to create a one-of-a-kind Wearable Art Garment.
    Clutch Jewels: With many a celebrity having been adorned by Clutch Jewels throughout the years they know they’ve got whatever ‘it’ is. 2008 marks their 10-year anniversary.
